Awaiba creates smallest camera ever:SuriSoft

Pictured here is the gadget that claims to be the smallest camera ever! Created by ingenious minds at Fraunhofer Institute and image Sensor Company-Awaiba, the little microscopic camera is as tiny as 1mm square substrate and comes with a layer of image sensors and a lens layer on the top.
The little camera has resolution of 250×250, sends its signal over an electrical wire instead of a fiber optic cable as the key features. The camera can be used in the medical field for endoscopy, embedded applications like motion detection, security or eliminating driver blind spots and much more.
There is no assurance if the camera with the small aperture and small sensor will offer the best image quality but nonetheless the camera is sure to do wonders when it’s up for sale in 2012. This means in the time to come you will have to be cautious of your moves, you never know there might be the minute salt grain like camera placed anywhere.
