T-Mobile HTC Flyer



The HTC Flyer will be available in the US market via T-Mobile. The handset is expected to hit T-Mobile some time this summer. In case you didn’t know, the HTC Flyer features a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor and the Google Android 2.4 Gingerbread. Samsung E2230


Samsung is back with a new affordable cell phone in the form of the E2230. As the successor of the Samsung E2120, the handset features a 1,000mAh battery that provides up to 14.6-hour of talk time or up to 660-hour of standby time. The phone has a 1.8-inch (160 x 128) TFT display, dual-band GSM/EDGE connectivity (900/1800 MHz), Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headset jack, a music player, an FM radio with RDS, a VGA photo camera and a microSD card support (up to 8GB). The Samsung E2230 is priced at sub-$100.


Bell Nokia C6-01


That’s right! Bell Canada offers the Nokia C6-01 for free with a new three-year contract. You can also buy this handset for $229.95 with a two-year contract or for $254.95 with a one-year contract. The Nokia C6-01 runs on the Symbian^3 OS and features a 3.2-inch (640×360) capacitive AMOLED touchscreen, an 8MP camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording, Ovi Maps with free worldwide navigation, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and a pre-installed 2GB microSD card. LG Optimus 2X



The all new LG Optimus 2X is now available for purchase in Australia via Mobicity. The handset retails for AU$799 (about $820) unlocked. Just to remind you, this Android smartphone offers a 4.0-inch 480 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, an 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 3G, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. HTC Evo 3D



According to HTC France’s Twitter account, the HTC Evo 3D will be released in France. Unfortunately, an exact launch date and info on pricing have not been given. The Evo 3D is known as the company’s first 3D smartphone. It is also the first to have a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Additional specs include the Google Android 2.3 OS, Sense UI, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual 5MP photo cameras, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 1GB RAM and a 4GB of on-board storage space. [UnwiredView]


Samsung C414 Entry-Level Clamshell Phone


Wind Mobile is reportedly preparing to launch Samsung’s latest entry-level clamshell phone ‘C414′ on their network. The handset is said to retail for around $100 without contract, however, there’s no word yet on the exact release date. In case you didn’t know, the C414 packs a 2.2-inch 240 x 320 TFT display, a 2.0-megapixel camera, a 50MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB) and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. [Wind Mobile]


Mobiado CPT002 Aston Martin Concept Phone



The Canadian luxury mobile phone maker Mobiado and the British luxury car brand Aston Martin have collaborated to create the CPT002 concept phone. With the Mobiado CPT002, you can unlock your Aston Marton supercar simply by approaching it. The phone also links with the car’s GPS system to provide a new level experience with social networking sites. Foursquare will show the car’s location and display your nearby friends right on the dashboard display. The Mobiado CPT002 Aston Martin phone also has accident-focused technology that uses the phone’s accelerometer to aid in the deployment time of airbags and other injury-preventing in-car features. Samsung Star II


Samsung has decided to launch the Star II (S5260) in India. The new smartphone features a 3-inch WQVGA display screen, TouchWiz UI 3.0, a 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth, a 1000mAh battery, QuickType T9 Trace keyboard, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. Telstra Australia HTC HD7


Telstra Australia is about to launch the new HTC HD7 on their network starting on March 29th. This Windows Phone 7 will retail for $768 (repayable over 24 months when purchased in conjunction with a consumer Telstra Next G cap plan or a Telstra Business Mobile Plus plan). To refresh your memory, this smartphone offers a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 5.0-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, a 512MB ROM, a 576MB RAM, A-GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 720p HD video recording capabilities, a micro-USB port and runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 7 OS. Kyocera Echo Dual Screen Smartphone


Here is the latest demo video of the Kyocera Echo dual screen Android smartphone. In case you didn’t know, the phone comes jam packed with a couple of 3.5-inch WVGA displays, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, WiFi, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and an included 8GB microSD card. O2 Nokia E7


That’s right! UK mobile retailer O2 is ready to launch the Nokia E7 in May 2011. It was previously scheduled to go on sale in March 2011 with some other UK mobile networks. As a reminder, the Nokia E7 comes with a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, an 8-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash and an HD video recording in 720p. Other specifications include HDMI, a built-in 16GB of storage capacity, Dolby Surround sound and Symbian 3 OS. No word on pricing at this time. [Pocket-lint]


HTC Merge


The HTC Merge is now available for pre-order to Alltel customers. The smartphone is priced at $124.99 after a mail-in rebate and signature on a two-year service agreement. The HTC Merge comes jam packed with the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, an 800MHz processor, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3.8-inch WVGA display with Sense UI, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 5MP AutoFocus camera with 720p video recording capabilities. LG Optimus 3D P920


The almighty FCC has recently approved the LG P920 a.k.a. LG Optimus 3D that supports T-Mobile’s AWS (1700 MHz) network. The LG Optimus 3D comes with a 1GHz TI OMAP 4 processor with a 4.3-inch 3D WVGA screen, an 8GB of storage space, the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, a 1500mAh battery, DLNA/HDMI support and a couple of 5-megapixel rear cameras, allowing you to take photos in both 2D and 3D. Acer’s brand new Android smartphone ‘Liquid Mini E310′ is now available for purchase in the UK via Play.com. The handset retails for 199.99 GBP (about $327) unlocked SIM-free. T-Mobile Sidekick 4G



T-Mobile has finally unveiled the pricing details of the new Sidekick 4G. The Android smartphone will retail for $99.99, and this price includes a $50 mail in rebate and is subject to customers signing up to a new two year contract with T-Mobile. In case you didn’t know, the Sidekick 4G features the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, a 3.5 inch Super AMOLED display, a slide out QWERY keyboard and a custom TouchWiz user interface. Sprint will launch the Samsung Nexus S 4G in Spring 2011. This Android smartphone supports Sprint’s high-speed 4G data network and features a 4-inch Contour Display, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, front and rear facing cameras, a 16GB of internal memory, and NFC (near field communication) hardware. LG Thrill 4G



AT&T is ready to release the new LG Thrill 4G or also known as the LG Optimus 3D. The phone will be re-badged and sold under the AT&T network, bringing the first glasses-free 3D phone to the US. The AT&T LG Thrill 4G features a dual-core TI OMAP4 processor, a 4.3-inch display with glasses-free stereoscopic 3D, dual 5-megapixel rear cameras, a 16GB of memory, access to a special 3D marketplace – LG 3D Space, HDMI output, and DLNA support.
